About This Course
Introduction
This beginner-level meditation course offers a comprehensive foundation for understanding and practicing meditation. It covers essential aspects of meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques), and basic yoga poses, focusing on integrating body, breath, and mind to deepen the meditative experience. This course is conducted biannually in two beautiful locations: Satyadhara Yogalife Ashram in Choral, Indore, India, and Yogalife Ashram in Terra de Areia, Brazil.
Prerequisites
This course is suitable for beginners with no prior experience in yoga or meditation. An open mind and a willingness to explore the practice are the only requirements.
Syllabus
- Yoga Poses: Introduction to various yoga asanas (poses) such as standing, sitting, abdominal, and spinal postures to prepare the body for meditation.
Relaxation Techniques: Understanding and practicing different relaxation methods, including Yog Nidra and Nishpand Bhava, to calm the mind and body.
- Pranayama: An exploration of breathwork techniques like Anulom Vilom, Bhramari, Ujjayi, Kapalbhati, and Bhastrika to enhance mental clarity and focus.
- Meditative Postures: Learning various postures to create a comfortable foundation for meditation practices.
- Popular Meditation Techniques (Osho): Introduction to dynamic and transformative practices such as Dynamic Meditation, Kundalini Meditation, Nataraj, Nadabrahma, No Mind, and Mystic Rose.
- Popular Meditation Techniques: Exploring a range of meditation methods including Raja Yoga, Transcendental Meditation of Mahesh Yogi, Sudarshan Kriya, Isha Yoga Meditation, Vipassana, Kriya Meditation, Mindfulness, Heartfulness, Christian Contemplative Prayer, Sufi Dhikr, Jewish Kabbalistic Practices, Mantra Meditation, and Yogendra Laya.

Assessment and Certification
Participants will be assessed through practical sessions, assignments, and participation in interactive classes. Upon successful completion, a certificate will be awarded, recognizing the acquired skills in meditation and pranayama.
